Getting started

What problem does Kanam actually solve?
The gap between strategy and what teams do every day. Most companies have goals in a slide deck, rituals that depend on each manager’s talent, and skills development that happens once a year. Kanam gives every team one structure — goals, rituals, skills, standards — connected to daily work, so execution stops depending on hero managers.

Do we need to know OKRs, retros, or any methodology to start?
No. Many of our clients had never run a retrospective before Kanam. The system adapts to your maturity level, guides you step by step (with AI-assisted goal suggestions and examples), and every rollout includes human training for your managers.

Can we start with just one team?
Yes. Plans are per workspace, not per account: start with one team on one workspace and keep any number of free workspaces. Most clients start with one or two pilot teams and expand once the rituals stick.

How long does a rollout take?
A pilot team is typically running its goals and rituals in Kanam within the first two weeks. A company-wide rollout follows the pace of your quarters: most organizations align everyone within one OKR cycle, with our coach guiding each step.

How Kanam fits your stack

Will Kanam replace our HRIS?
No. Your HRIS manages HR records — compliance, reviews, reporting. Kanam is the layer on top that turns those records (roles, levels, teams) into execution: OKRs, skills growth, team rituals. It fills the gap HR tools were never designed to cover.

How does Kanam work with our existing tools?
Kanam connects to the tools your teams already use — nobody has to leave Notion, Jira, or Slack. Deeper integrations ship every month to bring Kanam closer to where the work already happens.

Is our data safe? Are you GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Our DPA, Master SaaS Agreement, privacy policy, and full subprocessors list are published in the legal hub (kanam.io/fr/legal/). Data protection rights can be exercised at any time.

Pricing & commitment

How does billing work?
One plan — Complete — at $7 per user per month, everything included. Billing is per workspace: upgrade one workspace, keep unlimited free ones. No feature-gated tiers, no hidden costs.

Is there a free trial?
Yes: 30 days, full platform, no credit card, no commitment. If you want out afterwards, cancellation is one click.

What’s included beyond the software?
Hands-on training for your managers and access to a real human OKR coach — included in every rollout, not sold as an add-on. Software alone doesn’t change how teams run; the training is what makes it stick.

What happens on the free diagnosis call?
Twenty minutes, four questions — about how your teams currently run goals, rituals, skills, and standards. You leave with a clear picture of where the gaps are and what they cost you. No pitch, no demo. If Kanam isn’t the right fit, we’ll say so.
